POKER FOR FUN: Every Wednesday @ 12:30 - 2:00 p.m..
Allen McCreery will teach those wo want to learn to play a few variations of Poker - NOT FOR MONEY. Those who know the game are also welcome.

OPEN PINOCHLE: Every Monday & Friday @ 12:30 p.m..

50 cents. No reservations or partners needed. If you would like lto learn to play Pinochle, Allen McCreery will teach individuals on Tuesday mornings.

ACTING OUT!: Every Wednesday @ 10:00 - 11:00 a.m..

Have you ever wondered what it is like to be an actor - to become someone else? This once-a-week class will take you through the acting process, emphasizing the development of the individual actor through theatre games, improvisiation, acting techniques and performance. Let your imagination soar in this fun and nurturing environment! Patty Spillers of the Dreamworks Theatre Group is the instructor. The classes are Free to Banta members.

BUNCO: Every Tuesday @ 12:30 p.m.

50 cents per person for prizes. Will start at 1:00 p.m. on the 2nd Tuesday of each month because of Bonus Bingo.

PHIL-B'S BANTA BONUS BINGO: Every second Tuesday @ 12:15 to 1:00 p.m..

Banta welcomes Phil-B's Cafe and Coffeehouse to sponsor a fun and free bingo with cash prizes on the second Tuesday of each month. Just five games and one coverall make this an extra bonus of fun for your day. Join us and see if you are a lucky winner. Canterbury Place is a Beverly Healthcare facility.

FOOT CARE CLINIC: Tuesday, February 12 @ 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. - appointment required.

VNA will be here to do the usual foot soak, trimming, lotion, and massage. Please call Banta for an appointment. Cost is just $24.

SHIIP (Senior Health Insurance Information Program): Thursday, February 14 and every 2nd Thursday @ 12:30 - 2:30 p.m..

Certified Shiip volunteer counselors will be here to answer your questions about insurance. This program is a free counseling service and counselors are not affiliated with any company and will not solicit for insurance.

They can help with Medicare supplements, managed care plans, and much more. Walk-ins are welcome or if you would like to make an appointment, please call RSVP at 464-1028 and ask for a Shiip appointment.

MAKE A SPECTACLE OF YOURSELF - FREE EYEGLASS CLEANING & REPAIR: Tuesday, February 19 @ 12:00 - 1:00 p.m..

Eyeglass cleaning and minor repairs are available at the Banta Activity Center. This free service is made available by opticians from VisionPoint. They will clean the eyeglasses and do simple repairs like replace missing or loose screws, make minor adjustments, and overall fitting of eyewear. This is open to the public, no appt. needed.

Rehabilitation Therapist Paula Hyde from Like Care Center of Valparaiso will be here to answer your health questions.

"MASSAGE": Wednesday, February 20 @ 3:30 p.m..

Our massage therapist will perform 15-minute massages for those making an appointment. Please call Banta to schedule your appointment. Cost is $14 for Banta members and $16 for non-members. Banta member Virginia Milcoff is our Certified Massage Therapist.
