Shop and Dine Downtown Valpo by Bicycle

In an effort to promote shopping and dining by bicycle, which differentiates the Valpo shopping experience from malls and big box retailers, a group of downtown Valparaiso retailers and restaurants have joined together to create a discount buying program for shoppers who ride their bicycles to or around downtown Valparaiso.

It's quite simple, if an individual rides a bicycle to a participating shop or restaurant, the individual will receive a discount or an incentive, as determined by the individual merchant. As an option, the individual may ride their bicycle to Jano Bicycles to pick up a "Shop Valpo by Bike" voucher and shop by foot. Examples include a free dessert with a dinner purchase, or a set discount toward a retail purchase.

This unique shopping experience will allow shoppers to enjoy the downtown's quaint and traditional atmosphere. It encourages fitness and contributes to the preservation of the environment. Gas consumption is reduced and VIP parking is always at hand. Furthermore, it will give shoppers something to talk about.
