The Kiwanis East Shelter is the second shelter inside the park to the right, or south, of the entrance road. A parking lot and restroom facilities are found near this shelter. This is a small shelter, open on three sides, that will accommodate approximately 30-40 persons. There is a fireplace in the shelter which could be used to cook hotdogs and marshmallows or to take the chill off a cool evening.

The reservation fee of $60 (or $50 resident discount fee) can be paid by cash, check or credit card and made in person or by phone at the Park Administrative Office. Shelter fees are non-refundable and are due in full when the reservation is made.
